Real Madrid star and the leading contender for the 2024 Ballon d'Or, Vinícius Júnior, has declared that Spain should be stripped of its right to host the 2030 World Cup if a critical condition is not met.
According to Vinícius, the situation with racism in Spanish stadiums is appalling, and he believes FIFA must take this into account.
"If things don't change in Spain by 2030, the World Cup venue should be changed", said the Madrid forward.
It is worth noting that Vinícius has been subjected to racial abuse regularly over the past two seasons, with particularly egregious incidents involving fans of Valencia and Mallorca.
Spain is set to host the 2030 World Cup, which will also take place in Portugal and Morocco. However, the first three matches of the tournament will be held in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
