Real Madrid beat Paris Saint-Germain in race for young talent from Lille

Real Madrid continues to strategize for the upcoming transfer window and has already identified several priority targets. The Spanish champions are eager to acquire 18-year-old French defender Leny Yoro from Lille.
Yoro is regarded as one of the top central defenders despite his young age. He has attracted interest from numerous clubs, including those in the Premier League, but the main contenders are Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Previously, it was reported that PSG was the favorite to sign Yoro. However, according to L'Equipe, Real Madrid has surpassed the French champions in the race and is now closer to securing the player.
Paris is highly concerned about the situation with the young talent, as they considered him an excellent addition to their squad.
There have been reports that Lille plans to demand around €60 million for their player. However, considering Yoro's contract expires at the end of next season, this amount might decrease, allowing the club to protect themselves from potentially losing the player on a free transfer.
Leny Yoro, a product of Lille's academy, has played 44 matches in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
