In reaction to Esperance Tunis's allegations regarding ticket distribution for their CAF Champions League Group D game, which is scheduled for this Sunday at Cairo's Air Defense Stadium, Pyramids FC has released a statement.
In the statement, Pyramids welcomed Esperance’s delegation and fans, affirming their commitment to providing the same treatment they received during the first-leg match in Rades, Tunisia.
The Egyptian club highlighted that Esperance had allocated 125 tickets, along with two 20-seat boxes behind the goal, for Pyramids during their visit to Rades, while keeping the main stand closed.
As a gesture of reciprocity, Pyramids has decided to grant Esperance 125 complimentary tickets and two 20-seat boxes at the Air Defense Stadium. Additionally, the remaining 355 tickets allocated for Esperance fans—out of the total 10,000 match capacity—will be made available for purchase. The club has informed security authorities and other relevant parties of these arrangements.
Pyramids stressed their gratitude for the close ties with Esperance and the Tunisians, emphasizing that there is no hostility between the two sides. In keeping with the spirit of fraternity among the clubs, the statement ended by promising the Tunisian delegation a hearty welcome upon their arrival in Cairo.
