In order to guarantee that its supporters may attend the forthcoming CAF Champions League encounter against Pyramids FC in Egypt, Esperance Sportive de Tunis has urged the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to step in.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, Esperance revealed that it contacted Pyramids on December 18, requesting permission for its traveling fans to attend the match, in accordance with regulations granting the visiting team 5% of the stadium’s capacity. Despite following up with another message on December 26, the Tunisian club has yet to receive a response.

The club also stated that it reached out to the Egyptian Football Association through its Tunisian counterpart but has not received any feedback so far.

Esperance showed optimism that the matter would be settled shortly, underscoring the solid bond between both parties and stressing the importance of preventing the difficulties that its fans encountered in past matches.

Supporters of Esperance are currently looking for news, calling for adherence to rules that protect fans’ rights to cheer for their teams in continental events.
