Norway is heading back to the World Cup.

Details: Following yesterday’s 4-1 win over Estonia in the penultimate round of World Cup 2026 qualifying, Norway have all but secured their ticket to the 2026 World Cup.

The Norwegian players’ celebrations knew no bounds. The wild atmosphere in the dressing room captured the true taste of triumph after a long 28-year wait—the last time Norway featured at the World Cup.

Braces from Haaland and Sørloth sealed top spot in the group for the Norwegians, with their closest rivals Italy trailing by three points. But what’s even more decisive is the goal difference, where Norway boasts a 12-goal advantage. For the Azzurri to leapfrog Norway, they would need to beat them by more than 12 goals—a virtually impossible feat.

The clash between Italy and Norway is set for November 16 and will be the final showdown in Group I.

Reminder: Battle of the best! Erling Haaland matches Mbappé's national team goal tally, but does it much faster
