Haaland is displaying a phenomenal conversion rate, striking fear into the heart of any defense he faces.
Details: After a resounding 4-1 victory over Italy at San Siro, Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland explained the reason behind his heated exchange with Italian defender Gianluca Mancini:
"He was on me the whole game. He kept grabbing my backside, and at one point I shouted at him: 'What are you doing...'. At the end of the match, I actually thanked him: his marking really motivated me and helped me score two goals..." Haaland admitted.
In that match, Haaland netted twice, and Norway secured a direct ticket to the World Cup by topping their group with a maximum goal tally and an incredible 37 goals scored.
Italy, meanwhile, heads to the playoffs of the qualifying stage.
