Pure class from Ronaldo! Cristiano sends heartfelt message to Kvaratskhelia after devastating injury
Ronaldo knows exactly when words matter most.
Details: Cristiano Ronaldo has reached out to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with a personal message of support after the Paris Saint-Germain winger suffered a serious right-knee injury in the Champions League clash with Barcelona. PSG later confirmed that the Georgian had ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will undergo surgery, beginning a lengthy rehabilitation process.
Ronaldo wrote:
“The toughest battles in football are often the ones nobody sees. I know that feeling, Kvara. But NEVER FORGET what brought you this far, and don't let a difficult moment make you doubt how far you can go. Keep that fire on. Your best is still to come.”
Kvaratskhelia suffered the injury during PSG's 4-2 Champions League victory over Barcelona on October 20. The Georgian was unable to continue and needed assistance as he left the pitch, before examinations confirmed the extent of the damage the following day.
It is worth noting that Kvaratskhelia was named the best player of the 2025-26 Champions League after a remarkable European campaign in which he scored 10 goals and provided six assists for Paris Saint-Germain.
Reminder: Horror. Kvaratskhelia tore his ACL
