“Before every match, I simply asked God to let me return home healthy. But it was all in vain. Not much time has passed, but one question keeps running through my mind: why me? I thought I was ready for everything, but not this,” the footballer wrote on his Instagram page.

Despite the devastating blow to his career, the player showed unwavering resilience and vowed to overcome the challenges he now faces.
