PSL side Stellenbosch FC coach Gavin Hunt on Olisah Ndah: It's disappointing that he is yet to play having arrived here almost a month ago
Olisah Ndah’s work permit delays are frustrating Gavin Hunt.
The Nigerian defender joined Stellenbosch FC in January but he is yet to be cleared to play for the Betway Premiership side due to work permit issues.
This has left Hunt a frustrated man having recommended that Ndah be signed to bolster his Stellies defence.
“I’d love to get Ndah, but some people get a work permit done much quicker than others,” Hunt told journalists.
“I mean, it’s just a change of employee, so it should be something quick. It’s a problem because I want to compare, but if you compare big leagues around the world, if a foreign player, the work permit gets done through a certain person for all the clubs, in my opinion.
“So, I think that should happen, but it’s never happened like that. So, it’s a bit disappointing because he’s been here close to a month, and he should have played by now.”
The Cape winelands club face Golden Arrows tomorrow night in Kwa-Zulu Natal for a PSL game.
