The signing of center-back Lucas Beraldo proved to be insufficient for PSG, and the reigning French champions intend to further strengthen their defensive line.

As reported by the French portal Foot Mercato, Parisians have turned their attention to Leeds' defender Diego Llorente, who is currently on loan at Roma this season.

The Romans are willing to part ways with the Spaniard prematurely, but at the same time, Jose Mourinho wants to first find an inexpensive replacement for him. Leeds is also open to letting the player go.

The 30-year-old Llorente is well acquainted with PSG's current coach Luis Enrique, as he crossed paths with him in the Spanish national team. Under Enrique's leadership, Diego played five matches for “La Furia Roja”.

Llorente's contract with Leeds is valid until the summer of 2026, and Transfermarkt values the player at eight million euros. The English club had paid 20 million euros for the Real Madrid youth product in the summer of 2020.
