PSG have sent a new offer for the Benfica talent
PSG have sent a new offer to Benfica for 19-year-old talented midfielder João Neves.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Parisian club have sent another official offer for Neves after agreeing personal terms with the player.
“There is an offer for João, yes. We are discussing the amount. I never said that João would leave for only €120 million,” commented Benfica president Rui Costa on the offer.
Earlier, it was reported that the young midfielder is being chased by Manchester United and PSG, who sent to Lisbon transfer offers of 60 and 70 million euros. But, these offers did not find enthusiasm in Benfica's offices.
“Eagles” allegedly demanded to activate a clausula around 120 million euros, or at least start negotiations from the 100 million euro mark. Otherwise, it will not be possible for any of the suitors to get the young midfielder.
