Preparing for a move to Madrid? Osimhen may leave Galatasaray
Atlético Madrid continues to keep a close eye on Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. The head coach of the Madrid club, Diego Simeone, is personally interested in the signing of the 27-year-old Nigerian, according to Spanish journalist Rubén Uría.
According to the source, Osimhen's representatives have offered the forward to Atlético. The player himself is reportedly ready to take a significant pay cut to make the deal happen. Simeone, in turn, would welcome the Nigerian striker into his squad.
However, at this stage there have been no official talks between Atlético and Galatasaray, and the Madrid club has not made a concrete transfer offer. Osimhen's contract with the Turkish side runs until June 30, 2029. The player's market value is estimated at 75 million euros.
Let us recall, Osimhen has been playing for the Turkish club since 2024 and has already established himself as one of the team's leading stars. In 74 official matches for Galatasaray, the Nigerian has been directly involved in 75 goals, scoring 59 himself and providing 16 assists.
