Next Monday, the clubs of the English Premier League will meet to negotiate new terms of financial fair-play, which may affect the richest representatives of the top division.

According to Football Insider, the changes will primarily affect Manchester City's transfer budget, and the amount of cuts could be as much as £200 million.

The new rules are likely to cap all the club's spending at around £550 million per season, with the reigning English champions spending £754 million last season. But, the changes will not come immediately, but in the 2025/2026 season.

The new rules will limit the amount of transfers to a multiple of the lowest profit from commercial payments and receipts from the sale of television rights.

Recall, earlier it was reported that it is on 200 million pounds plans to buy up Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
