Last summer, Manchester City were stingy with more than £200 million, signing Josko Gvardiol, Mateus Nunes, Jeremy Doku and Mateo Kovacic, and in the upcoming transfer window, the Citizens are planning to work just as hard.

Pep Guardiola, the head coach of the reigning English champions, has decided that the team needs a major renewal of the squad, and, as GiveMySport has learnt, he wants to use around 200 million pounds for this purpose.

Almost half of this amount is believed to be spent on the signing of West Ham playmaker Lucas Paqueta, which could have happened last summer, but due to suspicions of the player in possible betting irregularities, the Citizens cancelled this transfer.

Bruno Guimarães and João Neves, who play for Newcastle and Benfica respectively, are also of some interest to Guardiola, so we could see three players at the Etihad in the summer.
