Premier League approves sale of Everton to Friedkin

Although Farhad Moshiri announced Everton's sale to Dan Friedkin back in September, the process has been delayed by three months due to the need for Premier League approval. Now, the deal is just a step away from completion.

Details: According to Sky Sports, Everton's new owners have received the green light from the Premier League to proceed with the acquisition. The transaction will be finalized next week once it is approved by the Premier League oversight committee.

Reminder: In late September, Friedkin’s company purchased 94.1% of Everton’s shares from Moshiri. The transaction amount remains undisclosed. Currently, Everton sits 15th in the Premier League, four points clear of the relegation zone. The new owners are already considering replacing head coach Sean Dyche.
