Manchester City travelled away to face Bodo/Glimt, where a truly unpleasant and ill-judged incident unfolded involving one of the Citizens’ key players.
Details: In the 61st minute, midfielder and captain Rodri was shown a yellow card. However, just one minute later, in the 62nd minute, the Spanish holding midfielder picked up a second booking and was sent off.
It is worth noting that the hosts had already stunned their opponents by scoring twice early in the first half. Kasper Høgh found the net in the 22nd and 24th minutes, registering the fastest brace scored against Manchester City since 2019.
Reminder: Manchester City defender John Stones is ready to leave the club at the end of the current season. The English centre-back is considering the option of becoming a free agent if a new agreement with Manchester City is not reached.
