Manchester City defender John Stones is prepared to depart the club at the end of the current season.
Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, the English centre-back is weighing up an exit as a free agent if no new agreement is reached with Manchester City.
Stones' current contract with the Citizens expires at the end of the season, and extension talks have so far failed to produce a breakthrough. The player himself is open to new challenges and does not rule out a change of club. This means Stones is already free to negotiate with potential suitors for a summer move as a free agent.
It's worth noting that this season, the defender has made thirteen appearances for Manchester City across all competitions, without registering a goal or assist. Transfermarkt currently values him at €18 million.
Reminder: Fulham are looking to hijack Manchester City’s Norwegian midfielder Oscar Bobb right from under Borussia Dortmund’s nose.
