Pitso Mosimane: I am ready to fall on my sword as the Bafana Bafana coach

Pitso Mosimane is prepared to fall on his sword as the Bafana Bafana coach.

The national team gaffer said his choice of top teams in friendly matches is a display of a fearless coach and that he is prepared to put his job on the line with such games.

"But I’m that guy who falls on his sword,” he said ahead of Bafana's game against GUinea this Saturday in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

“I believe you need to do it right and it might not go well but it’s part of life, that’s me in football, when it’s easy and comfortable, I get bored, I need the rush, I need to be on the edge a little bit – that’s who I am.”
