Pitso Mosimane gives update on Aubrey Modiba injury after Guinea victory

Aubrey Modiba's international break seems to be over.

The Bafana Bafana left-back was stretched off the Orlando Amstel Arena pitch yesterday in the national team's 2-1 win over Guinea as he was replaced by Samukele Kabini.

Now Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed Modiba is unlikely to play against Eritrea on Wednesday and on Sunday against Egypt in an international friendly.

"Aubrey is overloaded, my full-backs were on duty tonight. So, Aubrey is overloaded, but we have Kabini,” said Mosimane.

"Sebelebele is younger, and he can take the load, this guy can run all the time. So, Aubrey’s got a tight hamstring, which is not nice for us, but at least we still have Basadien, and we still have Kabini.”
