MArumo Gallants have all but confirmed that Phuthi Mohafe is no longer its coach.
The former Polokwane City coach was shown the door together with his assistant Musa Bilankulu.
The duo joined Gallants in pre-season with Mohafe coming from Polokwane while Bilankulu was at Golden Arrows.
"Marumo Gallants F.C. confirms that the club has parted ways with Head Coach Phuti Mohafe and Assistant Coach Musa Bilankulu, with immediate effect,” said the club in a statement.
“The Club will not be commenting further on the circumstances surrounding the decision or engaging on the merits of the matter.”
Trevor Mthiyane takes charge of the side this weekend when they face AmaZulu.
