Pep Guardiola appears at Legends Trophy tournament organized by his foundation

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola arrived to take part in the Legends Trophy, a golf tournament organized by his foundation. The official Legends Trophy Instagram account shared photos and videos featuring the Spaniard.

Pep Guardiola was spotted giving a press conference. The tournament’s official account captioned the photos with “👋 THE BOSS IS HERE!”, underlining the prominent role the Spaniard plays in the event.

It’s worth noting that the Legends Trophy brings together football legends united by a shared passion—golf. This annual gathering is a chance for some of the game’s greats to enjoy their love for golf and reminisce about the good old days in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Pep Guardiola, a huge golf enthusiast, first brought this idea to life in the summer of 2018 at the PGA Catalunya resort. The event has featured such legends as Txiki Begiristain, Ronald de Boer, Laurent Blanc, Ruud Gullit, Aritz Aduriz, Cristian Panucci, and even Bernd Schuster and Michel Platini.

This year’s Legends Trophy golf tournament will be held on June 2-3.
