The Senegalese manager acknowledged the difficulties faced by the Lions of Teranga during the match, whilst highlighting the quality of the opposition.
Senegal were beaten 3-2 by the United States on Sunday 31 May in Charlotte in an international friendly. A defeat acknowledged by Pape Thiaw, manager of the Lions of Teranga. He was keen to pay tribute to Team USA, who managed to put his players under pressure during the match.
“The American team put us under pressure; we must congratulate them. As for us, we have continued our preparations. We We have a very busy week ahead of us as we continue our work ahead of the 16 June match against France.”
