Oswin Appollis on Orlando Pirates' two defeats in one week: We will make sure we rise up in our next game as we are prepared to fight for the team
Orlando Pirates’ anger, disappointment and fury of two successive defeats will be felt by Kaizer Chiefs.
This is according to midfielder Oswin Appollis.
Pirates lost 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns in a PSL game and they were knocked out by Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup yesterday.
Appollis said this was a setback for them morale wise and he has revealed that his team-mates will fight in their next game.
That next game will be against their chief rivals in Kaizer Chiefs next Saturday.
“It’s a difficult one to swallow but I think the boys fought today, we create so many chances and we couldn’t score today,” he told Orlando Pirates TV.
“We will definitely bounce back. We have a whole week to prepare for our next game, so we’ll definitely putting in the next work to focus on our next game.”
