Osimhen's agent answered whether the new contract includes for the Nigerian a buyout clause
Victor Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda, addressed whether the new contract of the Nigerian striker at Napoli includes a buyout clause.
The forward's new deal with the club extends until the summer of 2026. It was reported that the new buyout clause for the player would be set at 130 million euros.
“Release clause? The contract is confidential.
"Proposals next summer? Next summer it will be the same: we’ll speak to Napoli and we will decide together. Last summer, some monstruos bids arrived… but we decided to stay”, told agent for CorSport.
Osimhen was named the best forward in Serie A for the 2022/23 season. His 26 goals in the league were a significant contribution to Napoli's Serie A title triumph.
In the current season, the Nigerian striker has scored eight goals in 18 appearances across all competitions. Napoli currently holds the seventh position in the Serie A standings. On December 29, Walter Mazzarri's team will host Monza.
