Orlando Pirates have received a major boost ahead of the MTN8 final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Sea Robbers have midfielder Thalente Mbatha and striker Evidence Makgopa back at training as both players have been out nursing injury.
After the Fifa break, Pirates will face Sundowns in the Wafa Wafa final on October 10.
“After missing the opening stages of the 2026/27 season, Bafana Bafana internationals Evidence Makgopa and Thalente Mbatha have returned to full-team training following their recovery from their respective injuries,” said a statement from the club.
"Both players have also featured in friendly matches as they continue working towards regaining full match fitness.”
