Abdeslam Ouaddou explains the absence of Thalente Mbatha agains TS Galaxy

Thalente Mbatha's absence in the Orlando Pirates starting line-up against TS Galaxy has nothing to do with how he played in the MTN8 final.

Mbatha returned to the Pirates side against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Wafa Wafa final and he was omitted from the proceedings at Orlando Amstel Arena last night.

“I was so amazed about his performance in the final, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such quality of Mbatha, high-level. So we don’t want to take risks with Mbatha," said Ouaddou after the 3-0 win over TS Galaxy.

"He’s an important player for us. So we play two days after and we don’t want to take any risks about him.”
