Nottingham Forest hosted Manchester City in the 28th round of the English Premier League. The "Tricky Trees" secured a victory against the reigning English champions with a 1-0 score, thanks to a precise strike from Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Interestingly, the head coach of the "Tricky Trees," Nuno Espirito Santo, has won four Premier League matches against Pep Guardiola. Throughout the Spaniard's career in the EPL, only Jurgen Klopp has more victories against him, with five.

After today's match, Forest has accumulated 51 points, securing the third spot in the EPL. Nuno Espirito Santo's team is four points ahead of Man City.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been at the helm of Nottingham Forest since 2023. Last season, Forest narrowly maintained their league status, finishing in 17th place.

Incidentally, we previously reported that Nottingham Forest achieved their first victory over Manchester City in the championship since 1997.
