They did it! Nottingham Forest secures first league victory over Man City since 1997

Nottingham Forest hosted Manchester City in a thrilling 28th round clash of the English Premier League. The "Foresters" clinched a victory over the reigning English champions with a 1-0 scoreline, thanks to a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Interestingly, this marks Nottingham Forest's first league victory over Manchester City since December 1997. Back then, the "Foresters" triumphed with a 3-2 scoreline at Maine Road in the Championship (the second-tier division).

Following today's match, Forest has accumulated 51 points, securing third place in the EPL standings. Nuno Espírito Santo's team is now four points ahead of Man City.
