The Saudi Arabian investment fund has identified the footballer who will be the main target in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The sheikhs aim to bring Manchester City's leader, Kevin De Bruyne, to their league, as reported by Rudy Galetti. The contract of the 32-year-old Belgian with the English champions expires in the summer of 2025. After the conclusion of the current season, De Bruyne is open to considering a move to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian Investment Fund owns four local clubs: Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli.

De Bruyne missed the start of the current season due to injury. Only in the last match against Sheffield United did he return to the team's lineup. It is expected that De Bruyne will return to the field in the FA Cup game against Huddersfield.

Earlier, it became known that Saudi clubs would not be active in the winter transfer market. However, in the summer, when the limit on foreign players increases from 8 to 10, they will become active again.
