Details: Oleksandr Usyk, in the evening of 17 September, was detained at the airport in Kraków (Poland). After a short stay in handcuffs, the world champion was released. Afterwards, Usyk made a statement via stories on his Instagram page.

Quote, ‘All is well, my friends. There was a misunderstanding that was quickly resolved. Thank you to everyone who was worried. Thank you Ukrainian diplomats for your support. And respect to Polish law enforcers, who perform their duties despite height, weight, arm range and regalia ’, - wrote Usyk in stories.

Recall: at the moment there is still no official information, what was the reason for the detention. It is known only that Usyk was not allowed on board the aircraft, after which he was detained by the security of the airport in Krakow.

Fight Usyk v Fury: 21 December should take place, a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. The Ukrainian has already announced the start of preparations for this fight. At the moment, it is impossible to assume whether the delay in Poland will affect the fight. However, if the world champion is able to leave Poland soon, most likely, the date of the fight will not be changed.
