Usyk announces start of training camp ahead of rematch against Fury
In May of this year, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in a bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship. A rematch between the two fighters is already scheduled for December, with both starting their intense preparations.
Details: Today, Usyk officially announced the start of his training camp.
“Next, we head to the training camp. I learned a lot about Fury from the last fight. Many of the things I saw in the ring—I didn’t notice them on TV. We will prepare even better, and God willing, we’ll showcase our form once again,” Usyk stated in an interview with Ready to Fight.
Reminder: Usyk has previously spoken about what motivates him to continue his boxing career.
The rematch between the Ukrainian and the “Gypsy King” is set to take place in Riyadh on December 21.
