Timo Werner from RB Leipzig has officially transferred to the English Premier League and will be playing for Tottenham.

It is reported that this is a loan deal until the end of the season with an option to buy. The potential transfer fee is set at 17 million euros.

In the current season, Werner has fallen out of the starting lineup for the "Bulls." He has only featured in 14 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Previously, Werner played in England for Chelsea, where he couldn't meet expectations, with 23 goals and 21 assists in 89 matches. On August 9, 2022, Werner signed a contract with his former club RB Leipzig, lasting until 2026.

In January, Tottenham lost their key forward Son Heung-min, who traveled to the Asian Cup as part of the South Korean national team.
