Officially confirmed. The Serie A leader has inked a fresh deal with their seasoned midfield maestro
Inter continues to extend its collaboration with key players. On December 30, the Milanese club officially announced a new contract with the seasoned midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenian midfielder's new deal with the club extends until June 2026, surpassing the previous agreement set to expire the following summer.
Previously, Inter renewed contracts with two pivotal defenders. There were also reports of the Milanese club reaching an agreement with a prominent midfielder from Napoli.
In the current season, Mkhitaryan has played 24 matches across all competitions, registering two precise strikes and providing five assists. The highly experienced footballer has previously played for clubs like Pyunik, the Donetsk-based Metalurh and Shakhtar, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Roma. He has been with Inter since July 2022.
Under Simone Inzaghi's leadership, the team concluded the year as the sole leader in Serie A. On January 6, Inter will face Verona in the league.
