Inter Milan has agreed on a contract with Napoli's midfielder, Piotr Zielinski, as reported by FCIN1908. The Polish midfielder is set to join the new team in the summer of 2024 on a free transfer, as his contract with Napoli will expire by then.

It's expected that the Polish player will sign a 3+1 deal with Inter, earning €4.5 million per season. Inter is looking for Zielinski to commit to a preliminary agreement in January to secure the transfer.

Zielinski, 29, has been with Napoli since 2016 when he moved from Udinese. Since then, he has played 351 matches in the blue jersey and scored 50 goals. In the current season, he has netted three goals and provided the same number of assists in 22 matches across various competitions.

Inter currently leads Serie A, ahead of their closest pursuer by four points. There have been reports that Inter is also close to extending contract with key midfielder.

Napoli, on the other hand, is lagging behind after a championship season and currently holds the seventh position after 17 rounds.
