Arsenal midfielder Fábio Vieira has returned to his hometown club, Porto. The "Dragons" officially announced the transfer on their social media channels.
The midfielder has moved to Portugal on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy.
Vieira initially joined Arsenal from Porto in 2022, but he never established himself in London. The Portuguese player is not part of the plans of Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta.
Last season, the 22-year-old midfielder made 17 appearances across all competitions and scored 2 goals.
It was previously reported that Arsenal is preparing to offer their head coach a new long-term contract.
