Tijjani Reijnders' Manchester City adventure has come to a surprisingly quick end.

Details: Tijjani Reijnders has officially completed his move from Manchester City to Saudi club Al Qadsiah. The transfer fee is reported to be €61 million, bringing the Dutch midfielder's spell at the Etihad to an end after just one season. Reports earlier confirmed that Manchester City and Al Qadsiah had reached an agreement on the deal, while Reijnders had also accepted the Saudi club's proposal.

The 28-year-old midfielder joined Manchester City from Milan in June 2025. At the time, City handed the Netherlands international a five-year contract, while the transfer was reported to be worth around €55 million.

Reijnders initially established himself as a regular in Manchester City's midfield, but his role became less prominent during the second half of the campaign. Al Qadsiah then moved decisively for the Dutchman and reached an agreement with the English club worth approximately €61 million.

It is worth noting that Reijnders made 50 appearances for Manchester City during his only season at the club, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists. His departure therefore brings an end to his spell in England just over a year after his arrival from Serie A.
