Official: Juventus forward heads to France!

Lyon is giving the Belgian striker a chance to put his disappointing spell in Turin behind him.

Details: Lyon has officially completed the signing of Juventus and Belgium forward Loïs Openda.

The 26-year-old joins the French club on a loan deal. Lyon will pay Juventus €3.5 million for the temporary transfer of the striker.

For Lyon, signing Openda is a significant boost to their attacking options. The Belgian can operate as a central striker or drift wide, making the most of his pace and ability to run in behind defenders.

Previously, Lens, Rennes, and Coventry were also interested in the Belgian. However, it was Lyon who managed to outpace the competition and reach an agreement with the Turin club for the striker's loan.
