Juventus remain determined to part ways with Loïs Openda in the upcoming transfer window, and the Belgian striker is already the subject of attention from four clubs.
Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Openda is being targeted by Lens, Lyon, Rennes, and Coventry City.
Earlier, the Turin club exercised their option to buy the striker from RB Leipzig for €40.6 million after his loan spell, as stipulated by the agreement. However, Juventus have shifted their plans: the club now wants to sell the player and is sticking to that stance.
The Lens situation is particularly intriguing. It was in France that Openda truly made his mark in the 2022/23 season, scoring 21 goals in 42 appearances for the club. Now, his former team—set to play in the Champions League next season—are once again considering a move for the Belgian.
Lyon and Rennes are also monitoring the striker, with Rennes preparing for a Europa League campaign. Standing out is Coventry City: the club recently earned promotion to the Premier League and is looking to strengthen its squad for the new challenge.
