Official! Juventus finally sign a goalkeeper
Juventus have finally completed another important move in their major goalkeeping overhaul.
Details: Juventus have officially announced the signing of 27-year-old Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from Wolfsburg. The shot-stopper joins the Turin club on loan until June 30, 2027, with the Bianconeri securing an option to make the transfer permanent.
According to the financial statement released by Juventus, the Italian giants will pay Wolfsburg €0.5 million for the temporary transfer, with a further €0.2 million in ancillary costs. The loan fee can also rise by another €0.3 million if specific sporting objectives are achieved.
The most important part of the agreement is the purchase clause. Juventus have the right to acquire Grabara permanently for €11.5 million, with that amount payable across three financial years.
So, despite the recent stories surrounding Emiliano Martinez, the goalkeeper officially arriving in Turin from Germany is Grabara. The Polish international joined Wolfsburg in 2024 after previously representing Copenhagen and spending time on the books of Liverpool.
It is worth noting that Juventus' official website credits Grabara with 63 appearances in the German top flight during his spell with Wolfsburg. The 27-year-old now begins a new chapter of his career in Italy.
