A boost from Serie A! Bournemouth announce signing of top Juventus goalkeeper
Bournemouth have officially completed a high-profile move to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks ahead of the new season.
Details: The English club has announced the signing of 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio. The shot-stopper joins the Cherries on a one-year loan from Juventus, with an option to make the move permanent.
According to reports, Bournemouth paid around €1.3 million for the paid loan of the Italian. The agreement also includes an option to buy the keeper outright in the summer of 2027 for a fee of approximately €13–14 million. Di Gregorio himself is thrilled at the chance to test himself in the Premier League.
It's worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Michele Di Gregorio made 30 Serie A appearances for Juventus, conceding just 25 goals and keeping 14 clean sheets. Renowned portal Transfermarkt currently values the keeper at €10 million.
