NPFL: Kwara United and Rivers United Share Spoils in Dramatic 1-1 Draw in Ilorin

Kwara United and Rivers United played out a dramatic 1-1 draw in their rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League clash at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl on Wednesday.

Kwara United took the lead in the first half and looked set for victory after controlling much of the game. Rivers United pushed hard for an equaliser, coming close through Chijioke Mbaoma late on.

Deep into stoppage time, a costly spill by Ayeleso allowed Boluwaji Sholumade to pounce and fire home the equaliser in the 90+3rd minute, earning Rivers United a dramatic point in Ilorin.
