IBF heavyweight title contender, Filip Hrgović, addressed Oleksandr Usyk regarding their potential title fight.

The Croatian boxer, in a comment to Pro Boxing Fans, stated that the Ukrainian boxer has now become a "greedy belly," as many exceptions have been made for him.

"Usyk has already had many exceptions made for him. Now it's my turn. He has become a greedy belly," said Filip Hrgović.

Hrgović is the mandatory challenger for the IBF title, but Usyk has officially requested IBF President Daryl Peoples to retain his title. The IBF president confirmed this information. The Ukrainian asked to keep his IBF title until the rematch with Tyson Fury, which is scheduled for December.

In the ninth round, Usyk knocked down Fury, the ropes and the corner saved the Briton from falling into the ring. The boxers are planning a rematch in the fall. Usik agreed to a rematch immediately after the fight in Riyadh.

It is worth noting that Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the 21st century. However, there was a possibility that on June 1, he could be stripped of his IBF title, which was set to be contested by mandatory challengers Filip Hrgović and Daniel Dubois.
