Not Salah: Premier League names Isak Player of the Month

Despite Mohamed Salah’s incredible performances in December, the Premier League chose another player as the Player of the Month.

Details: The award went to Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who scored 8 goals and provided 2 assists in 6 matches during December.

Isak found the net in every game of the month, including a hat-trick against Ipswich.

Meanwhile, Salah recorded 7 goals and 7 assists in December—a Premier League record—but still missed out on the award.
