Ryan Garcia cited the high ticket prices as the reason for the low sales for the upcoming fight with Devin Haney. Additionally, he took another jab at his future opponent by calling him an "unpopular fighter."

“I think, personally, the prices were very high and I want everybody to be in the building. I don’t think a lot of Americans can afford $500, $300 tickets for the top row.

I don’t think anything I said affected the fight - it is more so on him [Haney]. Devin is not a draw - and I have been definitely carrying this promotion on my back - by myself. Nobody wants to watch a guy that supposedly can’t crack an egg.” said Garcia at his media workout in Dallas.

The bout between Haney and Garcia is scheduled for April 20th in New York. Previously, Devin's father discussed how the purse will be divided between the fighters for their upcoming match.

Garcia last fought in December of last year, defeating Oscar Duarte. Haney, on the other hand, secured the championship title by defeating Regis Prograis in December of the previous year.
