Nigeria vs Tunisia: what you need to know about the match

Both teams made a strong start to the Africa Cup of Nations. Nigeria managed to defeat Tanzania 2–1 in their opening match. Lookman’s goal in the 52nd minute proved to be the match-winner for the Super Eagles. Tunisia delivered an even more convincing performance. They comfortably dealt with Uganda, winning 3–1, conceding their only goal late in the game when the score was already 3–0.

As a result, there is a chance to determine one of the playoff qualifiers, should either side claim victory. Both teams currently have three points, so a win for either Nigeria or Tunisia would take them to six points after two rounds and secure a place in the knockout stage.
