It was Nicolas Jackson who sparked the comeback in a match where the Bavarians were trailing 3-0 on Saturday during Matchday 31 of the German league. The Senegalese striker broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute, reducing the deficit to 3-1. This goal marked the start of Bayern Munich’s comeback.
Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane all found the net subsequently, and Bayern Munich went on to beat Mainz 4-3. Nicolas Jackson scored his seventh goal of the season in 20 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich.
