Bayern pulled off one of the most spectacular comebacks of the season, defeating Mainz 4-3 in Matchday 31 of the Bundesliga. The Munich side were trailing 0-3 at halftime, but managed to completely turn the game around in the second half.
This victory marked Bayern's eighth win after going behind in the current German top-flight campaign. With this feat, the team equaled the Bundesliga record set by Bayer Leverkusen in the 1999/00 season.
It's worth noting that Bayern had already clinched their 35th league title ahead of schedule. Vincent Kompany's men are demonstrating phenomenal attacking prowess, having scored 113 goals in 31 matches—an all-time Bundesliga record.
