Nicolas Jackson scores a superb goal against Tottenham in the Premier League

The Senegalese striker played a part in Aston Villa’s 3-2 victory on Saturday 19 September at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on Matchday 5 of the Premier League.

After Johan Manzambi opened the scoring just before half-time, Nicolas Jackson doubled the Villans’ lead in the second half. The Senegalese forward found the back of the net in the 67th minute with a precise strike, following a pass from Manzambi to make it 2–0.

With this goal, Nicolas Jackson has scored his very first Premier League goal for Aston Villa and his second in all competitions since joining from Chelsea this summer. The Senegal international has thus made a promising start to his season with Aston Villa, contributing to the victory for Unai Emery’s side, who secured their first league win of the season.
