Newly-appointed Kaizer Chiefs Fernando da Cruz boldly lays out his targets for the season
Fernando da Cruz is keen on bringing the glory days back at Kaizer Chiefs.
The Frenchman joined Chiefs this season and has already set lofty ambitions for the club.
Chiefs last season finished third on the Betway Premiership and face newly-promoted side, Kruger United, next weekend's opening's PSL fixtures.
Da Cruz has spoken boldly that his side will not be passengers in this league but they challenge for honours.
"We will play every game to win,” said Da Cruz.
“The championship is a marathon; you are not able to win it by December or January. But you have to be close to the other top teams in March or April.
“There are also the different cups to compete for and we want to win every game and every trophy available.”
This afternoon Chiefs face Zimbabwean side, Scottland FC, in their last pre-season friendly match in Rustenburg's Royal Bafokeng Sports Complex.
