Abram Mangoya has cited lack of experience in the elite league as the reason his Kruger United side lost to Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 last night.

Chiefs beat the Betway Premiership newcomers via Flavio da Silva goal and Wandile Duba's brace at Mbombela Stadium in front of a packed crowd.

Mangoya said they had to pay their ‘school fees’ in the defeat.

“I think it was a decent start for the boys, firstly congratulations to Chiefs, good result for them, they were just decisive, they know how to be decisive in the final third. I think we just paid school fees today, we just paid school fees,” said Mongoya after the game.

“On the boys, I’m proud of the performance they displayed in certain moments, I told them when we keep the ball, pin back but we got to be effective as well.

“When you get into the final third you got to play that dangerous pass which is where they were a little bit more composed and managed the ball inside the box when they pressed us very high.”
